How do I Join?

Joining is Easy! If you are over 16 years of age and live or work within the Common Bond, just apply for membership by completing an application form.

To be eligible for membership of Strabane Credit Union you must be living or working within our Common Bond area. You need to present 2 forms of identification to join and a minimum of £5.00 is needed to open an account and keep it activated. There is a once-off joining fee of £1.00

Two forms of identification are required in order to comply with the Money Laundering Regulations (2003) & Proceeds of Crime Act (2002) relating to all financial institutions. One form of I.D. from each of the sections below is required:

1. Evidence of Identification (must show proof of date of birth & recent photo), e.g. Current Valid Passport, Current Valid Driving Licence
2. Evidence of Address (must show address where you currently live), e.g. Original of Recent Household Bill (Phone, Electricity etc.), Electoral Register, Telephone/Street Directory, Bank or Building Society Statement
